Tractol 816 White Primer (often referenced by the code T816) is a fast-drying, single-pack alkyd primer and undercoat designed for high-performance protection on metal surfaces. 

It is specifically engineered to improve the opacity of light-coloured topcoats, such as yellows or creams, reducing the number of coats needed for a solid finish. 

Key Features & Performance

• Anti-Corrosive Protection: Provides excellent corrosion resistance for bare metal.
• Rapid Drying: Under standard conditions (+10 degrees), it is touch dry in approximately 1 hour.
• Versatile Application: Can be applied via brush, roller, or spray (conventional, airless, or air-assisted).

• Type Single-pack alkyd
• Coverage Approx. per litre at 35–40 microns dry film thickness
• Thinning Use Tractol T007 (VCC 20) or equivalent synthetic thinners (max 10% for spraying)
• Recommended Topcoats Tractol 329, Tekaloid T318, or other traditional 1-pack coach enamels
